The Indiana Hoosier Junior was held in October at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus. In all, 82 boys and 28 girls competed in the 36-hole tournament.
Jacob Modleski of Noblesville won the boys division with rounds of 69-72, three-under-par effort. Modleski was tied for first after the first round with eventual runner-up Happy Gilmore of Bloomfield.
Both battled for the entire second round, but Modleski was able to eke out the one-stroke lead to claim the title for the second consecutive year.
In the girls division, Michaela Headlee of Carmel finished four-over par with rounds of 76-72, to defeat Addison Kooi, of Westfield, by two strokes.
Headlee began the final round in third place, but her second round of even-par, 72 was good enough to secure the victory.
