Find Friendly People & Great Golf in Sky Valley, Georgia On a recent visit to SkyValley, in the mountains of Northeastern Georgia, we found a friendly village of people totally committed to their fellow residents as well as to the visitors that come to this paradise in the sky. Being among such an outwardly accommodating community, I was reminded of mymother’s favorite musical, Brigadoon. Two young men on a hunting trip encountered a Scottish community that was only on earth for one day every 100 years. It was a magical village where everyone was happy, cared for each other and lived in harmony. Those sort of things that only happen in movies and in fiction. That, however, describes Sky Valley.
