Indiana Golf Journal November

Since the month of October produced some of the best weather -- if not the best -- of the year for golf in Indiana, we thought that we would share some of the images of a few golf courses in Indiana that remain covered in green grass and continue to attract many avid golfers of all ages. October Is A Beautiful Month For Indiana Golf To spearhead this project, we want to thank our team of enthusiastic photographers, Andy Applewhite, Kurt Wieneke, and Annabelle Pancake, who did their best to bring us a group of impressive images to showcase the beauty of golf in Indiana in October. The Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus is one of Indiana’s top golf courses, as it has hosted many Indiana State Amateurs over the years. This past June, Otter Creek hosted the Epson Tour’s Otter Creek Classic. This golf course opened in 1964 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. This golf course was originally just 18 holes, but in 1995, Rees Jones added nine more holes to give this venue 27 holes: the East, North, and West courses.
