Indiana Golf Journal November

The Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel looks great, but it’s still undergoing course-wide changes and renovations as it will be the host of the 2028 U.S. Senior Open, which will be the seventh USGA championship hosted by Crooked Stick, which was founded in 1964 and was designed by Pete and Alice Dye. While designing Crooked Stick, the Dyes incorporated many elements of Scottish golf such as railroad ties, strip bunkers, sand and pot bunkers. This will be the second U.S. Senior Open at Crooked Stick as the first one was held in 2009.
