I will identify players to bring in for post-round interviews, typically those near the top, and ask them a few questions about their round. Once that wave finishes, I work on any notes I can and then repeat with the afternoon wave. Once play is finished, I wrap up my notes and send that out to local and national media.” Even though Jesus only worked 17 weeks this year, he still stays busy when he’s home in Fishers. “When home, I typically take a little time to wind down after a tournament, especially if I spend two weeks on the road,” stated Jesus. “After that, I work ahead on anything I can for my next upcoming tournament, attend (Zoom) meetings and answer emails.” Prior to joining the LPGA Tour, he worked in professional football for a brief stint. “I worked for the (Indianapolis) Colts for two seasons from 2021 to 2023.” While Jesus is an accomplished golf writer, he admits that he is better at writing about golf than actually playing golf. “My golf game is bad and my handicap is nonexistent, but I am trying my best.” When Jesus is not attending a golf tournament or getting ready to travel to one, he has a wide variety of outside interests. “Outside of work, I like to spend time with my fiancé Emma and my dog. I stay active by going on walks and working out. I am a big sports fan and try and watch as much as I can. I enjoy movies, video games, music and spending time with my friends.”
