The bad news for Canal Fulton’s Justin Lower, he missed a putt at the 72nd hole of the Web.com Tour Championship, to finish No. 26 on the Finals Series money list, just one shot away and less than $500 from earning one of the 25 exemptions for 2019 on the PGA Tour.

His eight-foot birdie at the last slid by the hole, but wouldn’t drop.

The Good news, Lower has a place to play next year with full exemption on the Web.com Tour, plus he will have another chance at making the jump to the big show next season.

He will undoubtedly have several starts on the PGA Tour via sponsor’s exemptions and opposite field events next year.

Via Twitter & Instagram, Lower thanked his fans,

“What a season on the @webdotcomtour !! I would like to thank everyone that has supported me all year as well as years to come. Absolutely gut wrenching to miss that putt on 18 but time moves on. Excited to get back to work and make 2019 my best year yet.”
