Tournament officials announced today that the 12th annual Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship, concluded August 26, 2018, at The Ohio State University Golf Club, raised a total of $2,218,004 for central Ohio charitable organizations, including $2,104,254 for pediatric cancer research and treatment at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The total marks the largest single-season charitable donation raised for the hospital in the 12-year history of the Web.com Tour Finals event and the second consecutive time the $2 million mark has been exceeded. Since its inception in 2007 the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship has donated a total of nearly $11.5 million in support of the hospital’s pediatric cancer program.

The annual Web.com Tour event has agreements in place with the PGA Tour, Nationwide Hospital and the Ohio State University Golf Course to keep the tournament as a stop on the Web.com Tour’s Final Series in August, through 2021.
