Golf is Being Taught in over 13,000 Schools Nationwide

In a recent study by the National Golf Foundation they found that more than 10,000 elementary schools have The First Tee National School Program, plus the TGA Premier Golf program is in another 3,400 schools and facilities. Many other schools are teaching golf in physical education classes.

This early introduction to golf can only be positive for golf’s continuation into future years. Research has proven that exposing children early in life positively influences their perceptions about golf and generates interest in the game.

The report also stated that 26% of school-age kids between the ages of 6 and 17 have been introduced to golf in school.
