A New National Competitive Golf Event for Girls and Boys from all 50 United States Launches in June 2020 at Hammock Beach Resort.

We Are The Fifty is a new national golf tournament that brings the top junior golfers from all 50 states together for one event. Only the junior golfers, both boys and girls, who claim their state’s junior championship will be invited to this one-of-a-kind golf tournament.

In addition, We Are The Fifty includes a championship category for players ages 15 and younger. But they must have won either their state title, their local Junior PGA title, or placed highest in an overall state junior championship.

We Are The Fifty Founder and Tournament Director Ari Flaisher told us,

“We aim to enable more and more girls and boys from around the country to develop into lifelong golfers who enjoy the game, making new friends, and ultimately benefit in their lives and careers regardless of profession.”

The inaugural 36-hole tournament will be held June 11-13, 2020 at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida.

“We are thrilled to launch a new era in youth golf and partner with such an outstanding venue as Hammock Beach. In addition to staging the competitions on one of Florida’s highest ranked golf resorts, the three-day event will include activities and entertainment for players and their families, including skills clinics, fun activities, and educational workshops.”

All state junior champions will receive invitations to the We Are The Fifty National Championship.

To help state golf associations further promote golf, a new non-profit organization will support next generation training programs and learning opportunities in golf. Starting in 2020, the We Are The Fifty Foundation will publish grant application guidelines including diversity, social impact, and zero carbon and waste management goals.

Junior golfers who qualify will love the Hammock Beach Resort, which includes two 18-hole championship golf courses. The Ocean Course was designed and recently renovated by Jack Nicklaus. It features six holes that play along the Atlantic Coastline. The Conservatory Course is annually ranked as one of the best courses in Florida.
