At this year’s Junior Honda Classic which was played on January 7-8 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Columbus North High School freshman Ava Bunker, the Indiana High School Athletic Association’s reigning girls state golf champion, competed in the girls 15-18 age group. Her two-round total of 74-74 (+4) was good enough for third place.
Staci Pla of West Palm Beach, Florida won the 15-18 division with two rounds of 71-72, a combined one-under par on the Palmer Course at PGA National.
