Given the current boom in the golf industry with the fastest growing segment of new golfers being women and juniors. Callaway’s introduction of the Big Bertha REVA, a new equipment line built specifically for women underlines the emphasis the company is placing on that portion of the golf market. Now these gender specific clubs are joined by the new REVA golf ball, just for women.

The two-piece distance category construction helps produce a steeper launch and lowers the spin rate, which provides more carry for slow to moderate swing speeds. It replaces the Supersoft Matte ball in the Callaway lineup.

REVA has a larger diameter than normal. The 1.73 inch diameter versus the usual 1.68 inches, allowing for a higher center of gravity, which means it flies into the air easily, particularly on mishits.

The two-piece REVA golf balls from Callaway are especially designed with women golfers in mind and compliment the Big Bertha REVA family of super game-improvement clubs.

REVA joins other golf balls on the market specifically with women in mind. Their chief competitors being Bridgestone’s e6 Lady and the Srixon SoftFeel Lady.
