Gary Robison Wins Ohio Senior Open

Gary Robison, previously won the Senior PGA in 2015. He added to his trophy case by winning the 33rd Senior PGA held at Firestone’s West Course in May. He will have his name etched on the Senior Ohio Open rock.

Robison carded 69-70 for a 1 under par 139 but ended regulation tied with first-round leader Steve Parker.

 

The playoff took two holes, but Robison prevailed and won on the 2nd playoff hole. 

 

Three finsihed tied for low amateur honors, 2016 Champion, Nick Lambos from Canton, Dan DeVore from Cincinnati and Roger Tolley, from Willard.

 

Don Padgett II, former Director of Golf and General Manager of Firestone Country Club, won the Super Senior Division with a two day total of 71-68=139. Second place finisher and low amateur was Jeff Sparks from Cincinnati.
