Stephen Gangluff, a teaching professional at The Club of Tartan Fields in Dublin, came from behind to win in a 3-man playoff at The Weymouth Club to collect his second consecutive Ohio Open Championship victory. His final-round 5-under 67 forced a three-way playoff with Alex Weiss, of Pickerington, and Barberton’s Chad Johnson.

Gangluff made a 6-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to seal the deal and pocket the first-place $6,000 check. He is the first consecutive winner since Bob Wynn won three straight in 1970, 1971 and 1972.

Gangluff joins Ohio legends Denny Shute, Byron Nelson, Bob Shave Jr, Herman Keiser and Frank Stranahan to win the Ohio Open on multiple occasions.
