Last month Louisiana’s Audubon Golf Trail announced the addition of three new courses, LaTour Golf Club, Oak Knoll Country Club, and Koasati Pines Golf Club.

These three additions bring the total number of courses on the Audubon Golf Trail to 18 and feature designs by some of the most famous names in golf, Arnold Palmer, David Toms, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Pete Dye. Plus, golf can be played year-round in Louisiana.

LaTour Golf Club – Mathews, LA

LaTour Golf Club is located deep in the heart of bayou country. Nestled along the banks of beautiful Bayou Lafourche, LaTour features an 18-hole golf course designed by PGA TOUR champion David Toms. The par 72 course sits on 597 acres of beautiful rolling grasslands. The 7,232-yard championship layout, immaculate greens, abundant water, pure white sand traps, and 75 acres of native grass area is a challenge and delight for every golfer.

LaTour offers four teeing areas, which appeals to golfers of all skill levels. In addition to the championship course, golfers can enjoy the fully stocked golf pro shop, driving range, and practice putting and chipping greens. Also on-site is the LaTour Bar & Grill offering delicious cuisine for after your round.

Oak Knoll Country Club – Hammond, LA

Oak Knoll Country Club is a hidden gem in the Northshore golf community. This facility has history and charm. Nestled among some of Hammond’s most beautiful oaks, the course offers beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Oak Knoll Country Club also offers golf lessons, children’s clinics, competitive tournaments, and a place where you can host events and outings.

The real star of the show at Oak Knoll Country Club is the fantastic golf design, which allows players of all ages and skill levels to feel both competitive and challenged. This is a layout that will have you reaching for every club in your bag as you maneuver the rolling fairways, fast greens, and hazards.

Koasati Pines Golf Club – Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, LA

Koasati Pines at Coushatta is currently ranked the No. 4 on the most recent Golf Digest® “Best In State” list of golf courses for Louisiana.

This spectacular course also placed in the Top Ten of Best in State Golf Courses: Louisiana Recognition as published in Golf Digest, 2015-2016. Multiple approaches on three holes, six sets of tees to engage golfers of all skill levels, pristine greens, and beautiful fairways, all wrapped up in a stunning 18-hole par 72 championship layout.

Technology is king as GPS enabled carts track yardage and offer course tips to help plan each shot. The novel 19th emergency hole features a par 3 island green, perfect for tiebreakers and wagers.
