TPC River Bend Hosts New Symetra Tour Event

 The Prasco Charity Championship, a new tournament on the Symetra Tour, will be held at TPC River’s Bend, outside of Cincinnati, June 29-July 1.

The 54-hole event will feature 144 young women golfers competing for a piece of the $100,000 purse and looking to move up to the LPGA Tour next season. At year end the top-10 on the Symetra Tour money list earn LPGA Tour cards for 2019.

Recent Symetra Tour graduates now competing on the LPGA Tour include Nelly Korda, Emma Talley, Madalene Sagstrom, and Jackie Stoelting. 

Along with the tournament the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf at the First Tee of Greater Miami Valley will be holding a clinic offering free instruction for junior golfers under the age of 18. LPGA & PGA Teaching Professionals will be on hand from 3:00-4:30 PM, Tuesday, June 26th, to offer instruction to the juniors.
