Wendy Doolan grew up in Australia and has played golf all over the world, with three LPGA Tour titles to prove it. She has over 25 year’s experience and is still competing with the younger girls on tour.

Just last year she made the cut at the Marathon Classic, plus posted a T-8 at the inaugural Legends Tour Women’s Senior PGA Championship held at French Lick’s Pete Dye Course.

She was also victorious at the LPGA Teachers Championship held at Mid-Pines Golf Club. Her three-day total of 4-under 212 was five shots better than the runner-up and the victory earned her a spot in the 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Her biggest career win came in 2004 at the Evian Masters, where she defeated Annika Sorenstam by one stroke.

For Doolan, competing on tour reinforces her credentials as a top-notch teacher,

“I like to play because it keeps me current with my students. I teach all levels, from beginners through Tour players. When someone says to me, I felt like this, or they call and say I’m five shots in front going into the last round, I know how they feel. Competing keeps me current with my students and helps me be a better teacher.”

Wendy still loves to compete on tour, but most of her time is spent sharing her golfing wisdom on the practice range.

She is hosting a three-day golf experience in Florida at the Grasslands Golf & Country Club in Lakeland. Spots are currently open for the February 21-24 and March 15-17 sessions

If you want to hit the ball farther, sink more putts, post lower scores and enjoy the game more, Wendy can help with her advanced teaching style.

Each 3-day session includes:

Individual and group instruction on full swing and short game techniques. On-course coaching and playing lessons are available each day after lunch. Additional personal training is offered after each round.

Students also learn, AimPoint Clinic Express and Speed, receive a personal putter fitting, plus how to handle trouble shots around the green.

In addition to over 20 hours of personal instruction and on-course coaching, each student receives golf at Grasslands Country Club, lunch, snacks and an informal cocktail party

Every student receives individual attention as each session is limited to a maximum of eight golfers.
